Memorial Day celebration

Memorial Day 2007 will forever be remembered to us as the last holiday that we spent in our old home. 706 Tiffin. We had everyone come over to watch the parade, just like always, but it was a little bit sentimental. After all, this will forever be the house that we had when we were married... when we had our first baby... new puppies, you know, it saw a lot of milestones.

There was a celebration at flag park for the new fountain and all the work that they put into restoring the park. There was even a flyover with some air force jets (that totally missed their mark, if anybody asked me, but I am sure I won't be asked) so we set out to check it out

It was also Andy's last parade as he will be going off to UT to study pharmacy in the fall.

one of very few pictures with me and cal... it has become a serious issue, mostly I take the pictures and adam and cal are in them...

the gang's all here...

after the parade, cal needed a dip in the pool

Don't worry, we still don't get kicked out of the house until June 15! BUT at least we won't be there for the 4th of July.

Family trip to the zoo

Well, we did it, we bit the bullet and bought a zoo membership this year. with cal at an age that makes him crazy about animals, we thought it was a good idea, especially since if you go twice, you really make up for the cost of the membership!

Cal is crazy about the aviary exhibit and we probably spent most of our time in there especially with all the baby birds, it was so fun to see them all sticking their little heads out of nests and such.

But of course, one of our favorite exhibits is the gorillas... they are so much fun to watch, probably because they are just so darn much like us! picking their noses and jumping around and having fun, etc.

and now that we have cal, we also spend a lot of time at the children's play area, which is just like watching the baby gorillas play...
