Cal needs a haircut

cal is very angry with his current hairstyle and is hoping for an updated look...

luckily, his mommy knows how to use the clippers... and cal apparently knows how to do the robot, what a talent, on both ends!

yay! a new look!

Spring Haircut!!

Finally, it is nice enough outside to head out and play... but that also means it is time for cal to finally get a haircut. It has been quite a while! as you can probably see by the pics

Before

After

Ah, I love the sweet feel of cal's freshly trimmed hairs! He really is growing up too fast! I wish I could keep him this little forever.

Oh by the way, did I mention

More ugly...

In the last post, I said that we gave the cats baths, but did I mention that we also shaved Cleo... we were pretty much sick and tired of picking up hairballs, so here she is, the new and improved, less hairy, but still very soft and lovable - Cleo!

you can see her hair is shorter here

but here is where you see why we (adam and I) were never graced with a groomer's license

Please forgive us...
This is what her hair used to look like... taken in the old house when we finished the attic

Cal's first haircut

After a long year of not really having a lot of hair, it was finally decided in the wahl household that cal had grown enough to have his first big boy haircut. He was growing the cutest little curls around his ears, but come on now, enough is enough!
Cal before going to get his hair cut for the first time...
not sure what to think of this strange lady and her "hair clippers"

all is well, now that I have a sucker and can see what is going on in the mirror

there was a mishap with the clippers towards the end of the cut where cal got a small scratch on the back of his ear, so that means that mom will probably be doing most of the haircuts from here on out. Plus, it really is pretty easy with little boys!
